The 2019 Ford Eco Sport promises high fuel efficiency with an eye for high-octane driving experience. The Eco Sport is available in S, SES, SE, and Titanium trims, and the EcoSport emphasizes functionality, with a clutter-free cabin that is spacious and comfortable.

The EcoSport is available with a turbo-3 engine and a front-wheel drive, or an all-wheel drive with an inline-4. Both configurations are mated to a 6-speed automatic. The EcoSport does ride fairly well on standard road conditions, featuring an accurate steering wheel that handles excellently.

The interior spaces can accommodate up to four adults. There is an unusual amount of cargo space in the interiors, including the spacious head room.

The EcoSport offers a lovely drivetrain that is both nimble and quick. It boasts a powerful 1.6. liter turbo 3 engine which is capable of reaching 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque. Ford uses an all-wheel drive system that can vary torque from the front to the rear wheels.

The optional inline-4 is capable of reaching 166 horsepower with 149 pound-feet of torque. Front wheel drive configurations can tow 1,400 pounds while the all-wheel-drive models can tow 2,000 pounds.

2019 Ford Eco Sport Comfort

The EcoSport sacrifices cargo space in its effort to transition into a small crossover SUV. It sits 161.3 inches long on a 99.2 inch wheelbase. The base models have cloth seats while the Titanium model has comfortably padded seats with leather upholstery, boasting extra features such as supportive lumbar. The Titanium’s high driving position gives the driver a good view ahead.

The EcoSport offers plenty of rear-seat space which is easy to climb in through the large doors at the back.  The rear seats can recline to provide passengers with comfort over long distances, they can also fold to make way for cargo.

Extra cost features will allow the EcoSport to gain automatic climate control, satellite radio, rear parking sensors, a 6.5 inch touchscreen, steering-wheel audio, keyless ignition, and a small sunroof. Other options include a high resolution 8 inch touchscreen, navigation, and blind-spot monitors.
